JOY TO THE WORLD!!!!
IT IS AFTER ALL THE SEASON!!
While watching TV this evening – GERALDO AT LARGE on FOX, – BREAKING NEWS:
Dear Leader Kim Jong IL HAS DIED AT AGE 69.
I marvel at the world we live in. Timeous reports on serious events affecting our lives and being able to digest and ponder the future.
Live footage from the momentous occasion of the US troops pulling out of Irag and watching the sun rise on this historic day fills me with pride to see the incredible contribution the United States have made to the people of Iraq.
It is interesting to see the consternation the death of the “Dear Leader” is having on the media at this late hour on Sunday December 18th – midnight going to Monday 19th December 2011.
Geraldo Riveira is reporting LIVE from Camp Virginia Kuwait at 6:45am Iraq time, and he has difficulty in keeping the focus on the human stories of this historic day of our brave and wonderful troops pulling out of Iraq.
In fact it is quite a moment to see the very last vehicle leaving Iraq with
” the last vehicle to leave Irag” painted on its exterior.
Let us NEVER forget the sacrifices they have made.
We HONOR and THANK our troops. THANK YOU!!!
MAY GOD BLESS YOU
AND GOD BLESS AMERICA!
Being interested in politics and world affairs, I took the time to explore and research the North Korean situation and their incredible hold on its people.
It was of great interest that I read some time ago the reasoning behind Kim JONG IL appointing his third son, the twenty-something Kim Jong Un, (another piece of work) as his successor to take over from him in the event of his death.
It was quite disturbing to read that he felt the other sons were too “soft” as he had observed Kim Jong Un treating animals in a cruel fashion. He realized that this son would be more suited to the position to succeed him in the event of his death, being the cruel leader he has been for the last 30 years.
However, it certainly is demanding world attention, as there are members of the family in the regime who would be subject to his command and the rivalry has been evident on quite a few occasions.
Well, there is a lot to be said, but in the interest of time and the significance of this occasion let it suffice to say the wind of change is blowing for sure. We are holding our breath.
I am just about to sign off and publish this post when I realized I should say something fitting for the loss of life of a human being, but alas I cannot muster anything kind to say except: “THANK GOD FOR THE DEMISE OF YET ANOTHER DICTATOR”.
So instead I look at the list of dictators still surviving in this day and age of entering 2012, and I tick of the next ones to go:
- Bashar al-Assad, President of Syria
- Mahmoud Ahmedinejad President of Iran
- Robert Mugabe Dictator of Zimbabwe who made himself President of Zimbabwe on December 31 1987 untill today December 2011 (astounding!)
The winds of change is certainly blowing.
We seemed to have had a good year this year – 2011 -with numerous evil people being eradicated. I say let’s keep the momentum going!!
Please feel free to add to the list…..and comment, I am keeping this thread open for comments.
The People of North Korea are in our thoughts and we pray for the innocent people of North Korea who are hoping for a better future with the demise of this dictator…..
